WHAT'S NEXT ?
NEXT is here, the first portable video computer, a video recorder up to 4K, a high brightness monitor and a computing device engineered and produced by Cinemartin, that fits into your palm. It allows you to record up to 4K & UHD (4096x2160 and 3940x2160) up to 60 frames per second or 1080P at 60 frame per second, 720P and NTSC - PAL variants, plus 3D frame packing or side by side recording and playback, at the world highest quality, 8 or 10-Bit at 4:2:0, 4:2:2 or 4:4:4, being the only one to be able to record and get your scenes in Uncompressed, Mjpeg, DPX, Prores, DNxHD, H.264 and H.265.
 Next is available in different configurations with HDMI, 6G-SDI and 12G-SDI combinations.
With the full power of a custom industrial portable computer for professional video purposes,  it have an unprecedent power and performance being the first and only one portable recorder in the world capable of 4K and 3D 1080P recording and playback in true cinema quality. It can record at the maximum quality available on the market as no other can enhance the performance of a Industrial Intel based 64-bit computer powered into a palm size, joined in a 15W TDP (AVG. 29W) consume, to deliver a slim device of approx. only 185x180x40mm, with more than 3-5 hours of standard wide available battery support, and all the unlimited ways a computer gives you.


Almost any input/output/port

NEXT comes with 4x USB 3.0 500MBps ports (with host suport) say to connect a pendrive or a USB 3.0 drive to backup your recorded media, to plug a wifi pen, etc. Comes also with 2x GigaEthernet ports allowing you to have a streaming server, simply add to a wifi or cable network and let your assistant or director see your recorded clips or any other thing you want to allow to, from say the other side of the globe using internet. A lot of things can be developed for, including remote trigger and display, etc..  all that a video computer can do.


No external media needed, there's integrated drive up to 1TB. Dont need to move files, you can edit them in NEXT


Dont worry about the media,  It comes with integrated SSD media (from 250GB to 1TB), so you save from buying a drive/s for (propietary or not). You may connect a external SSD USB drive like Samsung T1, but Next allows to simply plug a keyboard / mouse, connect up to 3 additional monitor or screens, and use it as a computer, so you dont need to move files as you can edit them in the same device, simple, fast, affordable, all-in-one..

NEXT is available in different models from OEM to complete Kits plus custom builds, all the way up with price differences based on digital inputs/outputs, processor, memory, ssd, battery kits, windows license, etc..

YOU CAN ALSO RECORD FROM SPECIALIZED CAMERAS THAT CONNECT VIA ETHERNET OR USB PORTS
In addition to HDMI and SDI, NEXT can record from cameras connected to the GigaEthernet ports and also from cameras from the USB 3.0 ports.

ALMOST ANY BROADCAST, FILM OR CINEMA CODEC

Next defaults to uncompressed recording, true cinema quality in 8 or 10 bits, or MJpeg or DPX and is able to transcode recorded footage to codecs like Prores, H.264, HEVC H.265, DNxHD, etc .. A background software does conversions automatically, users simply choose output format and check whether or not get also a uncompressed "master" copy.

Next is a portable computer too, this is a great benefit.  Made from Industrial components, that means longevity,  resistance, and high technology currently not available on mass produced components.

It is available with CPUs ranging from Celeron (ideal to only capture and preview but slow for transcoding), Core i3 and Core i5 for transcoding too and Core i7 both in 4th and 5th generation.

Inside Next are a Industrial 64-Bit Intel CPU with a TDP of only 15W and for capture, Cinemartin partnered with Blackmagic Devices to provide hightest quality / recording features with an added value at a competitive price. This allows to make our devices affordable, with added support.

3D Recording and playback
High end model (DUAL) provide 3D recording and playback, featuring dual SDI input/output and Dual HDMI. NEXT is able to record color space sampling in 420, 422 and up to 444.

UPGRADEABLE
NEXT, as a industrial computer powered device, means that software is a great feature; as software, diferently to "firmware only" upgrades, means that updates, tools, addons and other software applications can be provided to NEXT by Cinemartin or by third parties, other developers, etc ..

The Hardware side, as a computer, means some parts can be upgraded (by your vendor or qualified people certified by Cinemartin) like the internal SSD and the memory, but Next will be on sale with different configurations including custom builds where you can build your own one according to your requeriments.

Combining high quality components, with capture cards provided by a reputable company with extra support, along with a custom slim chassis, design, low power consume and great software, makes NEXT devices the choice of pro users, providing almost no-limit in performance, quality, easy of use, and long term usage.
POWER OPTIMIZED, UP TO 5 HOURS WITH 99€ - 199€ STD. LABTOP EXTERNAL BATTERIES
Next is optimized for low power consume, from 15W to an average of 29W, can be supplied with a VMount adaptor or with a special belcro adapter system that allows you to supply power using many external "labtop" battery. 12 - 19V 12000mAh - 33000mAh, say from betwen 60 to 120Whr. This will give you between 3 and 5 hours for external outside recordings. Next can be powered directly to the wall using a compatible AC-DC adapter, 19V 60 Whr+ recommended, connector type J from HP (7.4x5.1mm or 7.4x5.0mm).

EDIT, UPLOAD, BACKUP, SHARE, ETC ..
Next comes with WIFI and Bluetooth option so you can upload and share your videos, say like after transcoded, but you can also plug a External hard drive and backup the master quality uncompressed videos in a blazing fast speed using the provided USB 3.0 ports. Cinemartin also sells SSD (Solid State Disk) mini-hard drives from 250GB to 1TB. You can plug a keyboard an a mouse, navigate the internet, open some NLE editor like Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas and edit in-situ (on-location), then upload or send to your customer / media.
